philosophical

Excess of ease erodes all weight of care,
Excess of distance chills the air we share.
Wisdom rejects both hunger and disdain,
For either extreme delivers quiet pain.
A measured space preserves the thread we weave,
Unbroken bonds require room to breathe.
When silence rules where honest words should stand,
Relations crumble, buried in the sand.
Once fallen low in sight and inward grace,
No return mends the loss of earned place.
Repeated apathy hardens the will,
Until the heart itself is standing still.
If grievance lives, let speech assume its role,
Unspoken truths corrode the inner soul.
Resentment stored becomes a hidden fire,
That feeds on trust and burns away desire.
Balance alone is mastery in ties,
The lens through which all human worth applies.
Not nearness blind, nor distance sharp and cold,
But poised restraint is how bonds endure and hold.
Let beauty rise from depth, not skin or show,
For faces fade—yet character will grow.
